The Mombasa County Public Service Board is joining the world in marking the Customer Service Week from 7th – 11th October 2019. All customers/ stakeholders are welcome to mingle with us. President Opens Mombasa International Show

Highlights include launch of County Online Complaints System

His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta officially opened the Mombasa International Show. This year’s show has over 190 exhibitors, some of whom are from Uganda, Tanzania, China, Ukraine and Zanzibar.

The president urged the youth to participate in agricultural activities. He assured the country that the government has put in place measures to enhance food security.

His Excellency, the Mombasa County Governor, Hassan Ali Joho, the Cabinet Secretary for Tourism, Najib Balala and Kajiado Governor Joseph Ole Lenku were present.

The County Public Service Board CEO, Jeizan Faruk and the Ombudsman, Khadija Yusuf diligently explain how the Online Complaints System works

During the occasion, the president officially launched the Mombasa County Online Complaints System. The Mombasa County Public Service Board CEO and Secretary, Jeizan Faruk informed him that Mombasa County is the only county with an online complaint system. The County’s Ombudsman, Khadija Yusuf explained how the complaint handling system and grievance mechanism works.

Responsibilities

  • Offering pre-operative assessment (anaesthetic screening) and management of patients.
  • Offering intra-operative management to patients.
  • Offering post-operative management / follow up of theatre patients/clients.
  • Giving anaesthetic advice to the theatre /hospital team in all matters pertaining to anaesthesia.
  • Guiding and counselling patients/ clients/ staffs in matters pertaining to anaesthesia.
  • Responsible for the anaesthetic machines and drugs.
  • Collecting and Compiling anaesthetic data and report.
  • Performing any other duty that may be given by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Be a Kenyan Citizen;
  • Be a holder of a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or Clinical Medicine and
  • Community Health from a recognized institution;
  • Be a holder of a Higher National Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery, Anaesthesia, from a recognized institution;
  • Have a Certificate of Registration from the Clinical Officers’ Council
  • Have a valid practice license.
  • Must have good inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Satisfy the requirement of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya
