BEWARE OF FALSE JOB RECRUITERS

It has come to our attention that there are individuals masquerading as recruiting officers for public service jobs.

We would like to state that in case there are vacant positions available in the County Government of Mombasa, the Mombasa County Public Service Board does advertise in the local dailies and in its official website whose address is as follows:

www.psbmombasa.go.ke

Clear application instructions are published together with the job advertisement so that applicants for any vacant position will easily apprehend and follow. Everything is self-explanatory and in case of any query, our physical, postal and telephone addresses are clearly indicated in the advertisement.

We would like to state that we have not given any organization or any individual the authority to recruit staff for us or for the County Government of Mombasa. It is an offence in Kenya for anyone purporting to be a recruiting agent for the County Government of Mombasa or for the Mombasa County Public Service Board. Anyone doing so is liable for prosecution.

As an institution that has an obligation of fulfilling its mandate towards the public, the Mombasa County Public Service Board would like to advise the public:

to be vigilant about fraudsters and conmen who solicit money from them with the false promise of securing jobs for them in the County Government of Mombasa.
To report such fraudsters and conmen to the police
To report such fraudsters and conmen to the Mombasa County Public Service Board
To report such fraudsters and conmen to the EACC
